Senior Vice President, Information Availability & Intelligence,
Jeff Hausman is Senior Vice President, leading the Information Availability and Information Intelligence teams, and is responsible for driving global product strategy, development and support for Storage Foundation, Veritas Cluster Server, Veritas Operations Manager, Data Insight, Symantec ApplicationHA and File Store product lines, as well as for Clearwell, Enterprise Vault.Cloud, and Enterprise Vault product lines. These solutions ensure the world’s mission-critical IT infrastructure and largest data centers are successfully managed and available, thus helping customers manage their information while reducing cost and complexity.
Jeff rejoined Symantec in 2011 with the acquisition of LiveOffice and most recently served as Vice President, Engineering & Operations for Enterprise Vault.cloud with responsibility for worldwide development, operations and support. Prior to its acquisition, Jeff was Chief Operating Officer at LiveOffice where he managed engineering, operations and client services.
Previously, Jeff held executive positions at Hewlett Packard (HP) and Veritas focused on storage, data management, security in software, software-as-a-service (SaaS) and hardware businesses. At HP, Jeff held several Vice President of Engineering roles, including Vice President of the Nearline and Unified Storage organizations. During his prior tenure at Symantec and Veritas, Jeff was Vice President and General Manager for Symantec’s SaaS business, Vice President of Global Services Product Management and held various product management & marketing roles for enterprise products, including Veritas Storage Foundation, CommandCentral, Enterprise Vault, and Managed Security Services. Earlier in his career, Jeff held leadership roles at several early-stage technology companies and served as a consultant to Fortune 500 clients as part of Booz & Co.
Jeff earned an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics and economics from Claremont McKenna College. He is an avid sailor and spent more than three months sailing from the Virgin Islands through the Panama Canal. He also enjoys tennis, golf, skiing and spending time with his wife and two children.
